I wanted to experiment with more three dimensional felting technics.
This was the first one. I buried glass beads inside the layers of wool, felted it all together and then cut the tops to release the beads and show the color inside. Although the principle worked, I thought the windows needed to be larger in relation to the thickness of the final felt.
So this time I used flat resists inside one of my totes. I thought that flower petals would be nice being three dimensional.
For this tote I used Bev for the dark grey and Solo for the flower petals.
